Roles Helping To Run The Event
Stewarding
Full-time – eight hours per day
Probably the most varied role, stewarding involves anything from welcoming people into venues or giving directions to monitoring the car park. Your job is to make sure guests are cared for – a great way to meet people and be a core part of the Revive experience.
Requirements
You must be over 18, have good physical fitness, a servant heart, enjoy working as part of a team and have a cheerful, enthusiastic manner. A current Ichthus DBS check would be advantageous.
Cafe Ash
Part-time – four hours
Cafe Ash is an entertainment hub, and a great place for people to unwind and relax at the end of the day. The role involves preparation and serving of light refreshments, clearing tables and generally being engaging and hospitable.
Requirements
A friendly disposition and a willingness to help out in whatever way is needed. Some catering experience would be beneficial.
Site Team
Full-time – eight hours per day
Revive couldn’t go ahead without the hardworking, practically-minded team that sets up and maintains the event.
As well as working during the week, some team members come a few days early to help with setup, or stay on at the end to pack down. Please ask about this when applying.
Requirements
Applicants should be over 18, physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. Carpentry, plumbing or electrical skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
Technical Team
Full-time – 8 hours per day
Revive relies on a wide range of technical equipment, including sound systems, lighting, video and computer projection.
We need people with experience and also those who would like to learn and develop skills during the week. In addition to operating systems at Revive, your help would be needed setting up and clearing away the event.
Requirements
An aptitude for technical equipment and a willingness to serve.
Shop
Full-time – 8 hours per day
The Revive Shop is a busy hub for everyone looking for tasty snacks, refreshing drinks or campers’ everyday essentials. For many guests it is the perfect place to stock up on essentials for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to serve the entire event with a friendly and satisfying shopping experience.
Requirements
A friendly disposition and a willingness to serve customers will be just as important as being willing to handle stock and to remain calm when it gets busy. A good knowledge of basic maths will be beneficial!
