All children’s and youth workers will require valid DBS checks at Revive.
Roles Working With Children
Noah’s Ark (1–2yrs) and Rainbow Club (3–4yrs)
Part-time – four hours every morning (plus setup and set-down at the beginning and end of the week)
Each worker will have particular responsibility for a small group of children as part of the larger group. Activities include;
- Telling stories, playing games, helping with craftwork
- Nappy-changing and feeding (particularly in Noah’s Ark)
- Helping with daily Bible times
Requirements
Just bring plenty of energy and enthusiasm! All facilities and activities supplied.
For safeguarding purposes a current Ichthus DBS is necessary to work within any of the children streams.
Toffee and Salty Popcorn (5–10yrs)
Full-time – eight hours per day
This is a fun-packed, spiritually-dynamic programme running each morning and evening.
Requirements
You will need to love children and have an enthusiasm to help them experience all that God has in store for them.
Jesus Generation (11–14yrs)
Full-time – eight hours per day
Jesus Generation is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside this generation’s history-makers! Mornings comprise of a mix of crazy, fast-paced games and competitions with interactive Bible study and different small-group workshops. The evenings are a chance to seek the presence of Jesus with powerful times of worship and ministry. If you want to be involved in equipping the young people to go home and make a big impact for Christ then this is the team for you.
Requirements
A servant heart and desire to see young people meet with Jesus. Experience in youth work would be beneficial.
Spirit Anointed Servants (SAS) (15–17yrs)
Full-time – eight hours per day
SAS is an action-packed week of Bible teaching, lifestyle discussion, worship and practically serving the site by car washing, foot washing and other servant-hearted acts. There are also great workshops on some afternoons and a chance to get involved with sports competitions.
Requirements
Dynamic, self-motivated people with experience of working with youth and who enjoy working in teams. Must be flexible, hardworking, reliable and willing to go the extra mile.
